About the founder
My name is Sabine Katzmair, I am a business economist, interim manager, management consultant, corporate learning professional, trainer (IHK) and online payroll trainer. Once in a while I am writing and talking about payroll topics as atechnical author and podcaster. I am the founder of the Payroll Academy.
In numerous projects as an independent consultant, I have realised that good payroll management stands and falls with well-trained specialists. This is why I have set myself the goal of improving the training of young payroll specialists in particular, guiding and supporting them on their way to becoming competent payroll specialists and making them fit for the future.
Since the beginning of my career, in addition to my growing operational responsibilities in payroll, I have also taken on responsibility for human resources and training. As a qualified trainer and instructor, I have been reliably and comprehensively imparting theoretical and practical knowledge on all aspects of payroll in offline and online seminars for many years. As a corporate learning professional, I design tailor-made in-house training concepts for payroll accountants.
Since 2020, I have been working almost exclusively virtually and, in addition to my home office in beautiful Bavaria, I work from various locations for clients throughout Germany and Europe.
It has always been important to me to bring modern and innovative methods and technologies into organisations. I am particularly fascinated by new learning and agile learning methods. Only with new methods can companies meet the challenge of constant change and make their professionals fit for the future.
My international experience, intercultural skills and years of professional experience at an international level enable me to work at a very high level. Communicating fluently in English and training international staff in English are a matter of course for me.
I enjoy working with people, especially young people. I believe that trust and cooperation on an equal footing are fundamental to successful learning and training outcomes.
